Memberships can generate funds.
It is also more likely that when someone invests in something they contribute/participate more.

We need to decide on factors like

  • Cost
  • Pay one-time fee or yearly dues
  • The privileges
  • The bylaw rules.

Idea #1

I think this would be a good kickstarter for +YOUnity.

This person calculated her follower count across all social media accounts and asked for them to support her dreams for $1.

She posts about it daily as a reminder and it is interesting to see the change that everyone is making for her.

Reasons why I think this is a wonderful idea for +YOUnity.

  • We have 12,000 people on +YOUnity’s accounts alone
  • We don’t have anything to lose
  • Social media is free
  • It will demonstrate what we can do when we unite.

 

Idea #2

We pre-sale Waste free kits.

Small, Medium, Large.

I think this could be good as a second fundraiser.

-If there are damaged/lost goods we need to compensate.
-It’s going to be a lot of work fulfilling orders
-Getting products in from china is a difficult process.
-We would have to wait at least 30 days before being able to ship to us, then to customer.
